Vaccination clinics, incentives offered at 澳门彩开奖历史记录

Gadsden, Ala. –  澳门彩开奖历史记录 will host two vaccination clinics with the Alabama Department of Public Health and will offer incentives to fully-vaccinated students and full-time employees.

“With the number of COVID cases rising in our state, it is important that we do everything we can to encourage our students and employees to protect themselves and others by getting the COVID-19 vaccination,” said Dr. Kathy Murphy, president. “While it is not required of our students or employees, it is highly recommended.”

Vaccination clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 1 in the Beck Conference Center on the Wallace Drive Campus in Gadsden and Sept. 8 in the Cain Learning Resource Center on the Ayers Campus in Anniston.

Clinics are open to anyone ages 12 and up. A parent or legal guardian must sign a consent form for children that are 18 years old and under. No appointment is necessary. Pfizer and Moderna vaccinations are available while supplies last. Participants will receive directions on receiving their second vaccination at the clinics.

The Book Assistance Program provides up to $500 in savings for students purchasing required books and tools for 澳门彩开奖历史记录 courses.

Full-time employees receiving full vaccination will receive a $50 voucher to the 澳门彩开奖历史记录 Cafeteria on the Wallace Drive Campus or a $50 voucher to the 澳门彩开奖历史记录 Bookstores located on the East Broad and Ayers campuses. Part-time employees will receive a $25 voucher.

To be eligible for the Vaccination Incentive Program, you must submit your vaccination card on the by Oct. 15.

“We respect the privacy of our students and employees, so it is important to note that no one is required to participate in the vaccination clinics or the incentive program,” Murphy said. “The vaccination is encouraged but it’s certainly not mandatory. It’s a personal decision.”
