Gadsden, Ala.—The opening reception for the 2019 Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition will be from 5 to 7 p.m. May 2 in the Meadows Gallery on the Wallace Drive Campus. The exhibit features artwork by 澳门彩开奖历史记录 students created during the 2018-2019 academic year, including digital photography, design, sculpture, paintings and traditional drawings. Cardinal Foundation to host Swoop Sprint 5k
Gadsden, Ala. - The Cardinal Foundation, a support organization of 澳门彩开奖历史记录, is hosting Swoop Sprint, a 5k run, at 9 a.m. June 8 on the Wallace Drive Campus. The Gadsden Runners Club is directing the GRC Grand Prix Series race and all monies collected will be used for student scholarships. Cash prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 overall male and female participants. Medals will be awarded to Top 3 in each age group. Age groupings are 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and older. The preregistration fee $25 with members of the Gadsden Runners Club, Anniston Runners Club and 澳门彩开奖历史记录 students, faculty or staff receiving a $5 discount. An official race day t-shirt is guaranteed if registered by May 31. Race day registration is $30 and is available from 7:30 to 8 a.m.; the race begins at 9 a.m. To register, go to and find the Swoop Sprint 5k menu option. Gadsden, Ala.--Drivers Education courses will be offered this summer through the Continuing Education Department at 澳门彩开奖历史记录. All classes will meet from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sessions will be held June 10-13 and June 24-27 at the Joe Ford Center on the East Broad Campus and June 17-20 and July 8-11 at 澳门彩开奖历史记录 Cherokee in Centre. The registration fee is $175 per person and certificates will be awarded after completion of the course. Pre-registration is required.
